Laurence "Luckyman" has been been an American wanderer since turning 15 and sticking out his thumb. There have been just a few pitfalls along the way but the journey has produced many a song. Here on this album, "The Huntsville Sessions" are 13 great ones that chart Lucky's musical schooling, from the rowdy Country bars of Northern California, to the confluence of Blues and Soul found in Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana and the Carolinas and the Rockabilly of the Virginia, DC, MD scene where he started. "I've had this sound in my head for years, of connecting the dots between Country and Blues and Rockabilly and Soul. I used Dan Hocter on Hammond organ, Mark Torstensen on Double Bass and Blues maestro Ardie Dean on old circa 1940s drums to build that bridge and it worked really well."
